![]() ![]() So I called customer center, and the agent was nice and prompt to tackle the issue. I was so scared because it was already after 9PM and I had nowhere else to stay. I asked him to talk to someone or check again cause it looked like a system error or something to me, but he told me to go somewhere else cause he needs to greet other customer. But he bluntly said that he didn't cancel it and told me to figure it out as if it was my fault. I got panicked and told him that it could never happen cause I have never cancelled the reservation and it is still on my app, so it must be your fault (I meant hotel) if it was ever canceled. The guy who was working at the front desk said that he could not find my reservation and then he said it was canceled. I rarely write reviews but I have to tell you that I had a terrible service during check in. We are only on day one of a three night stay but there is a really nice restaurant at the top of the hill called Yamashiro which we will definitely be dining at, which has spectacular views. There is secure parking onsite for 25 dollars per night and you even get your own reserved space. We took an open top bus tour from there to get our bearings and decide where else we wanted to visit. We took a leisurely stroll down the hill and were there within 15 minutes. ![]() The cherry on the metaphorical cake though was the proximity to Hollywood Boulevard, which seemed to be the centre of everything going on. We found the door to the apartment slightly tricky to open, but we were met by JD who couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming. The check-in process is very easy using your phone.
